Obituary of Mary A. Crawford

Mary A. Crawford, 87, of Bridgeton passed away on Wednesday, March 30th at Cooper University Hospital in Camden. Born in Bridgeton to the late Herbert J. Brown and Linda M. Cuff Brown, she had been a Bridgeton resident all of her life. Prior to her retirement, Mary had worked in the Environmental Services Department at the Cumberland County Court House. She was an active member of John Wesley United Methodist Church in Bridgeton and served on the Usher's Board. In her free time, Mary enjoyed cooking, baking and flower gardening. She is survived by; three sons, Michael Crawford (Sherri) of Bridgeton, Tony Crawford of FL and Franklin Crawford of East Brunswick; her daughter, Carol Beverly (Albert) of Fairfield Twp.; 15 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by; three daughters, Jaqueline Crawford, Carla Ziglar and Deborah Stewart; a son, Romaine “Duke” Crawford and her brother, Herbert J. Brown. Funeral services will be held at John Wesley United Methodist Church, 90 Matthew Brown Way, Bridgeton on Saturday, April 9th at 11AM. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp. Friends will be received at the church from 9 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
