Viola Estella Dunklin-Bell, 75, of Vineland went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 18, 2022. She was born in Miami, FL to the late Elizabeth Henry and the late George Dunklin. Viola moved to Bridgeton in the late 1960's while she was in her early twenties. She resided the rest of her life in New Jersey. She was married to her late husband, Reynold R. Bell of Trelawny, Jamaica. She graduated from Blanch Ely High School in Pampano Beach, FL in 1965. Viola Studied at the Lincoln School of Practical Nursing in the 1960's. While still living in FL, she worked at a hospital in Miami as an LPN. She had also worked as an LPN at Newcomb Hospital in Vineland and had worked as a home health aide and was a licensed cosmetologist. Viola had worked for Owen's Illinois Glass Co. in Bridgeton for 10 years in the 1970's She worked for several factories including; Seabrook Brothers and Sons, Red Pack, Leone Glass Co. Hunt's Foods, Progresso Foods, Grasso Foods and Santa Sweets (from where she retired in 2005). Viola was also a dedicated home homemaker. In her free time, she enjoyed playing the lottery, gambling at the casinos, watching horse races and reading books. She also enjoyed Bible Study, spending time with her family and friends, sewing and eating soulfood. She was also a fan of gospel, reggae calypso and oldies music and western movies. She was also known to travel and spend time tending to her yard especially vegetable gardening. She is survived by; her daughter, Sylvia Bell of Vineland; her brother, Charles Griffin, Jr. of Bridgeton; two granddaughters, Brielle Gonzalez of Vineland and Jennifer Gonzalez of Vineland; six step-children of New York and a host of nieces nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by; her husband, Reynold R. Bell; her siblings, Johnny Dunklin, Moretha “Rita” Harris, Levi “Baby” Henry and Mary Ann Henry. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Friday, February 25th at 11 AM.
