Helen V. Woody, 69, of Cedarville passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. Born in Bridgeton, she was the daughter of Norman Burns Jr. and Hazel Table Burns. Helen was a longtime resident of Cedarville. Helen can be remembered working as a volunteer at the Norman Burns Free Commodities Center in Cedarville for many years. In her free time, she loved spending time with all of her family especially her grandchildren and being ornery with her niece “twin”, Connie. Helen also enjoyed family vacations especially camping. She loved music by Elvis Presley and Patsy Cline. In her younger years she had spent time working with horses and enjoyed playing Bingo. She is survived by her children, Eula Norcross (Alby Jr.) of Cedarville, Joe Woody (Julie) of WI, Juanita Lacy (John) of NC and her baby, Charlie Woody of Cedarville; a special niece, Connie Pedersen; grandchildren, Norman, Erica, Charlie, Jr. (CJ), Elizabeth, Anthony, Hazel, Zachary, John Jr.(John-John), Tiffany and Justin; eight great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Anthony Woody and she is now reunited with her sister and best friend, Juanita. Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life Memorial Service on Sunday, March 6th at 1PM at the Cedarville Fire Hall, 30 Maple Ave. Cedarville. Food and refreshments will be provided at 12 noon prior to the service. If anyone would like to bring a dish, please contact Christy at 856-466-4636.
