Obituary of Martha Lovette Upchurch

Martha Lovette Upchurch, 53, of Bridgton passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Cooper University Hospital in Camden. Born in Philadelpha, PA to the late Charlie Coleman and Betty Greene Coleman, she was the wife of Terrence D. Upchurch. Martha had been a resident of Bridgeton for the past five years and before that she had resided in Cedarville, Willingboro and Atlantic City. Martha had been previously employed at Walmart in Millville as a customer service representative and at Paycorp in Burlington. She was a member of the Bridgeton Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. In her free time, Martha loved to cook and two of her famous dishes were her baked macaroni and cheese and knockout ribs. Her family described her as a person who knew her way around a kitchen and could cook just about anything. She is survived by; her husband, Terrence Upchurch of Bridgeton; two daughters, Nyemah Annette Upchurch of Bridgeton and Karnegie Miketa Upchurch of Bridgeton; two grandchildren, Legacy Lovette Upchurch and Legend Lilianna Upchurch; two siblings, Lorraine Coleman of Philadelphia and David Coleman (Janelle) of Philadelphia; her great aunt, Syvella DuBose of Stow Creek; her nieces and nephews, Mariah Coleman, Naomi Coleman, Nate Ferguson, Jr. and Siani Ferguson all of Philadelphia and her brother in law, Nate Ferguson, Sr. of Philadelphia. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Friday, February 11th at 3 PM. Interment will take place at Fernwood Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 2 PM to 3 PM prior to the services.
