Obituary of Mario Sanchez

Mario Sanchez, 73, of Vineland passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. Born in General Teran, Nuevo Leon, Mexico to the late Guadalupe Sanchez and Florinda Rodriguez Sanchez, he was the husband of Josefina Castillo Sanchez. Mario came to the U.S. in 1978 and resided in Atlantic County until 1981 when he settled in Cumberland County. He retired from Ancora Psychiatric Hospital after over 10 years of service, prior to that he had worked with fiberglass in both marine and auto design. Mario was a devout member of the Spanish Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses in Malaga and loved to study his bible. In his free time, he enjoyed playing Dominos and learning. He was a history enthusiast, he loved to learn about new technologies and current events. Mario enjoyed doing anything that would further his knowledge. He is survived by; his wife, Josefina Sanchez of Vineland; his children, Milca Pratts (Fred) of Vineland, Jaime Sanchez (Meganne) of Vineland and Jason Ryan Sanchez of Vineland; the Ramirez family; the Martinez family and extended family. He was preceded in death by; his parents, and his sister, Migdalia Sanchez. Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
