Obituary of Sarah A. Currey

Sarah “Sally” Currey, 68, of Newport died Wednesday, February 2, 2022 surrounded by family. The daughter of the late Adelia Rhubart Cossaboon and Clarence Cossaboon, she was the wife of the late Ronald Currey. She was born in Bridgeton and was a lifetime resident of Newport. Prior to her retirement, Sally had been employed with the Ball-Foster Glass Company in Millville. She enjoyed spending time with her family, painting, crafts and feeding the birds. She is survived by two daughters, Lisa Cossaboon of Newport and Lynette Vichosky of Cedarville; a son, Robert C. Currey of Fairton; a brother, Clarence Cossaboon, Jr. of Millville and a sister, Barbra Hickman of Millville; six grandchildren and a great-grandson. She was predeceased by her sister, Peggy Cossaboon. Graveside funeral services will be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Cedarville on Sunday, February 6th at 12:00 Noon where the interment will follow the services.
