Obituary of Ida Frances Fox

Ida Frances Fox, 81, of Stow Creek Twp. passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at the Bishop McCarthy Residence in Vineland. Born in Charleston, WV to the late Charles Edward Moore and Mary Adeline Montjar Moore, she was the companion of James Shope for 47 years. Ida had been a resident of Stow Creek Twp. for the past 20 years and prior to that she had lived in Bridgeton, Millville and West Virginia. Prior to her retirement, Ida had been employed by the Bridgeton Board of Education on the custodial staff for about 10 years. In her free time, Ida loved to spend time at home with her family especially her grandchildren. She is survived by; her children, Dan Moore of Charleston, WV, Charles Kirk (Helen) of Stow Creek Twp., Onna Moore of Stow Creek Twp., Timothy Moore of Stow Creek Twp., Tonya Paroda (Mark) of Hopewell Twp., Cleatt Fox of North Carolina; six siblings, Arthur Moore (Charlotte) of Charleston, WV, Charles “Butch” Moore of Bridgeton, Thomas Moore of Charleston, Evelyn Young (David) of Vineland, Nancy Moore of Vineland and Annette Kniess of Millville; 16 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by; her companion of 47 years, James Shope; her siblings, Edward Moore (Helen) Larry Moore and Terry Moore (Cindy); a brother-in-law, Kenny Kniess; a grandson, Drew Barr and 3 great-grandchildren, Mekhi Angel Kirk, Lacey Moore, Jr. and Adrianna Moore. Funeral Services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME on Thursday, February 3rd at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Greenwood Memorial Park in Millville.
