Obituary of Sky L. Pierce

Sky L. Pierce, 46, of Millville passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022 at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. Born in Bridgeton to the late Frank Cupe and Patricia Pierce, he was the husband of Deisha R. Bonner Pierce. Sky had been a resident of Millville since 1996 and he had resided in Bridgeton before that. Sky had been employed by Shoprite grocery stores mainly at the Upper Deerfield Store in the receiving department for about 30 years. In his free time, he enjoyed reading about history and ancient cultures, golfing and playing Xbox. He was also a huge San Francisco 49ers fan and loved to talk about football with his family and friends. Most of all, Sky loved spending quality time at home with his family. He is survived by; his wife, Deisha R. Pierce of Millville; two sons, Sky Pierce, Jr of Florida and Imani Davy of Florida; his siblings, Antoinette Jordan of Vineland, Angeline Thomas of Millville, Lawrence Pierce of Vineland, Chris Cupe, Harold Cupe, Jeffery Cupe, Robin Hall and Bitty Cupe all of Bridgeton; his honorary brothers, Christopher Young, Sr. of VA and Jermaine Ford of Bridgeton; his mother and father in law, George and Josette Bonner of Bridgeton and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members. He was preceded in death by; his parents, Frank Cupe and Patricia Pierce. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp, on Monday, January 31st at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Fordville Memorial Park in Fairfield Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
