Obituary of Bonnie G. Beck Hounsell

Bonnie G. Beck Hounsell, 61 of Vineland, passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. Born in Bridgeton to William Stanley Beck Jr. and the late Edith Husted Sheppard, she had been a south Jersey resident all of her life. Bonnie worked as office manager for the South Jersey Vet Center in Egg Harbor Twp., formerly Ventnor Vet Center for almost 25 years. Her work family described her as the center of their office. She will be remembered fondly by her co-workers for her always being a helping hand or a listening ear for whoever needed it. In her free time, she loved to shop and spend time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren. Bonnie loved her cats dearly and was a film buff, she loved Disney and Christmas movies most. She is survived by; her children, Nicole Hunt (Andrew) of Newfield, Justin Wesztergom (Allison) of N.C. and Ashlea Wesztergom (Jim) of Fairfield Twp.; her brother, William S. Beck III of Bridgeton; sixteen grandchildren, including her very special grandson Logan; three great-grand children; her father, William Stanley Beck Jr., and a host of extended family. She was preceded in death by; her mother Edith Sheppard; sister Edith Callahan; and her long time companion Burt Mead. A memorial service will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Saturday, January 15th at 11 AM. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior the the services.
