Obituary of Patricia Lynn Jones

Patricia Lynn Jones, 66, of Vineland passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at Cooper University Hospital in Camden. Born in Bridgeton to the late Edward C. Lane, Sr and Julia Campbell Lane, she was the wife of the late Joseph F. Jones. She had been a resident of Vineland for the past 10 years and prior to that she had resided in Norma, Millville and Newport. Patricia had been most recently employed at the Park Ave. McDonald's in Vineland for a few years. She had been previously employed at the Woodbine Developmental Center for many years as an HSA. Patricia also sold platters and candy around her apartment complex and was affectionately known as Patti Fry and the Candy Lady. She was a member of Faith Outreach Deliverance Church in Bridgeton where she served as a pastors aide, on the women's and anniversary committees and as an usher. She was also known as one of the church mothers. She was a praiser and woman of faith who not only just trusted God but believed God. In her free time, Patricia enjoyed praising the Lord, family vacations, tik toks with the grandkids and shopping at Gabe's. Most of all, she loved to spend quality time with her family. She is survived by; her children, Tanji Baldwin (Randolph) of Vineland, Lamont Smith, Sr. (Gloria) of Philadelphia, PA, Levan Ireland of Atlantic City, Maurice Jones of Buffalo, NY and Joseph Ireland of Pittsgrove Twp.; her siblings, Eddie Ann Lane of Salem and Vonda McPherson (Reynolds) of Deerfield Twp.; her sister-in-law and caregiver, Daisy Jones of Vineland; her sister-in-law, Mary Lu Lane of Vineland; 16 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by; her husband, Joseph F. Jones; her daughter, Lashawn Ireland and her siblings, Ronald Lane, Artis Lane, Anthony G. Diaz, Edward C. Lane, Logan Lane and her twin brothers, George and Ollie Lane. Funeral services will be held at Faith Outreach Deliverance Church, 100 South Pine Street, Bridgeton on Wednesday, December 29th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Laurel Lawn Cemetery in Upper Deerfield Twp. Friends will be received at the church from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
