Obituary of Diane L. Shaffer

Diane L. Shaffer, 51, of Commercial Twp. passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021 at Shore Memorial Hospital in Somers Point. Born in Millville to the late John Shaffer and Fanny Butterworth Shaffer, she was the fiance of George Webber, Jr. Diane had been a resident of Commercial Twp. for the past 25 years and before that she had resided in Millville. She had been most recently employed at the Concord Suites in Avalon in the Housekeeping Department. Diane was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting and puzzle books. Her family described her as having a great sense of humor and she loved to joke around. She is survived by; her fiance, George Webber, Jr. of Commercial Twp.; her children, Nicole Shaffer of Vineland, James Hysler of SC, Courtney Webber of Commercial Twp. and George A. Webber of Commercial Twp.; her brother, John Shaffer of Millville and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers, William Shaffer, Sr. and Charles Shaffer, Sr. Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
