Obituary of Walter William Darick

Walter William Darick, 74, of Millville passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. Born in Neptune to the late Warren Darick and Dorothy Jennings Darick, he was the husband of Effie Coggins Darick. Walter was a veteran of the United States Army. Prior to his retirement, he had worked as a Pipefitter and Welder for United Association Plumbers Union Local 322 out of Hammonton. Walter had a great passion for studying God's word and his favorite book was Revelations. In his free time, he enjoyed; fishing, archery, golf, bowling, antique cars, landscaping, primitives and riding motorcycles. Walter's proudest moment in his life was marrying his wife, Effie Darick, who loved and supported him for 40 years of marriage. Besides his wife Effie Darick of Millville, he is survived by; his chilren, Tammy Guyach (Nick), Jackie Guyach (Steven) and Michael Darick (Sandy); his grandchildren, Staci McRae, Allison Sclosser, Katlyn Mehl, Codi Guyach, Jeremy Guyach, Devon Turin, Juliana Lorita and Blake Darick; his first wife and friend, Betty Darick; his great grandchildren, Remi, Ysa, Reese, Axton, Liam and Kellan and his siblings, David Darick, Jeanene Loy, Ricky Darick, Pat Brunner, Sandy Darick, Sherrill Ford and Carol Finlaw. He was preceded in death by; his daughter, Tina Beakley and his parents, Warren and Dorothy Darick. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Wednesday, December 29th at 12 PM. Interment will take place at Cumberland County Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Hopewell Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 12 PM prior to the services.
