Obituary of Elarie E. Pawling

Elarie E. Pawling, 91, of Pitman passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021 at Pitman Manor. Born in Turtle Creek, PA to the late Charles E. Moore and Lucille Cessna Moore, she was the wife of the late Russell Pawling. Elarie lived in Bridgeton, NJ for many years before moving to assisted living at Pitman Manor in 2016. She worked packing bottles for Owens Illinois Glass Co. in Bridgeton until her retirement in 1984. Elarie was married for 38 years to Russell Pawling, who passed in 2010. Elarie loved to make people laugh and had a good sense of humor. She was very active in her Baptist Church and enjoyed teaching Sunday School for many years. She and her husband also loved traveling to Florida on vacation and returned many times. They spent their honeymoon at Walt Disney World the month and year that it opened. Elarie was preceded in death by; her brother, Blaire and and two nephews, Chuck and Ron. She is survived by; two step-children, two nieces and her sister-in-law. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Monday, December 13th at 10:30 AM. Interment will take place at Eastview Cemetery in Salem. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9:30 to 10:30 prior to the services.
