Obituary of Louise P. Metcalf

Born in Dante, Virginia on August 12, 1941 to the late Omer R. and Lucille Pippin, she was the wife of Ernest Metcalf, Sr. She had been a Deerfield Township for the past 42 years and lived in Bridgeton prior to that. A homemaker, she was a member of the Red Hats Club. Besides her husband, Ernest, she is survived by two sons, Michael D. Metcalf of Vineland and Earnest Metcalf, Jr. of Bridgeton; a brother, Omer R. Pippin, Jr. of Mobile, AL; five sisters, Macie Davis of Cedarville, Betty Jessee of Castlewood, VA, Doris Powell of Jacksonville, SC, Sue Cochran of Mobile, AL, Gail Macklin of Hennipen, IL and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Laura Ann Metcalf and a sister, Brenda Bush. Funeral Services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township, on Thursday, December 13th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Fernwood Memorial Park in Hopewell Township. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 to 11 AM prior to the services.
