Obituary of Stanley G. Davis

Stanley G. Davis, 79, of Cedarville passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at The Belvedere Center in Chester, PA under the care of hospice. Born in Bridgeton to the late Stanley F. Davis and Evelyn J. Timerson Davis, he was the husband of the late Nancy J. Green Davis. Stanley had been a Cedarville resident most of his life. Prior to his retirement, Stanley had worked as a mold maker for Wheaton Glass Co. in Millville for over 30 years he and had been formerly employed at Armstrong Cork and Glass Co. in Millville. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving as military police during the Vietnam Conflict. In his free time, Stanley enjoyed hunting for deer and elk in Wyoming, Maine and Montana. He was an accomplished woodworker and had even built his own home in Cedarville. As an avid sports fan, Stanley enjoyed watching the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles. He also was fond of traveling to Hershey Park with his family and was a roller coaster enthusiast. He is survived by; his daughter, Stephanie N. Kowchak (John) of Glenolden, PA; his grandson, Logan X. Kowchak and his sister, Bette French of Cedarville. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy J. Davis. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Thursday, November 11th at 1 PM. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Cedarville. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 11 AM to 1 PM prior to the services.
