Nora Phyllis Woodis Born April 29, 1932 to parents Arnold and Verna Johnson in Prenter, WV. She passed away peacefully while in Inspira Hospital Vineland on October 16, 2021. She is survived by one daughter, Tracie Lynn Saunders Clontz; four grandchildren, Brook Nichole Sorantino Gurnavich, Gregory Anthony Brago, Jr., Tyler Frank Brago, Sr. and Christopher James Norman. Also, she leaves behind three great-granddaughters and three great-grandsons. She is also survived by her loving siblings, Shelva Jean Cobb, Jack Lee Johnson (Shirley), Boyd Anderson Johnson (Jackie), Macil ‘Midge’Marie Wolbert, whom she lived with, and Denver Dean Johnson (Judy). She was pre-deceased by her parents and siblings Eunice Irene Alexander, Charles Emmit Johnson and Arnold Ray Johnson. Nora retired from Owens Illinois in 1984 after more than 30 years of service. Following her retirement, she worked as a Certified Home Health Aide. Nora enjoyed crocheting. She lovingly made countless afghans, pillows, hats, scarves and dolls for family and friends. She also crocheted new born baby hats and blankets which were donated to local hospital nurseries. She enjoyed trips to Atlantic City casinos. For a number of years, she was an active member of the local ‘Red Hat Society’. Services for Nora will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations in Nora’s memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Services were under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Township.
