Obituary of Howard F. Hymer, Jr.

Howard F. Hymer, Jr., 80, of Upper Deerfield Twp. passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Cooper University Hospital in Camden. Born in Bridgeton to the late Howard F. Hymer, Sr. and Viola Rose Hollenwger Hymer, he was the husband of the late Sandra Lang Hymer. He had been a resident of Upper Deerfield Twp for over 50 years and prior to that he had resided in Greenwich. Prior to his retirement, he had owned and operated Hymer's Nursery in Greenwich for over 10 years. Howard had been previously employed by; Suburban Propane in Bridgeton, Fairton Marina in Fairfield Twp. and Price Label Co. in Bridgeton. In his youth, he had been a member of the Future Farmers of America. In his free time, Howard enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by; his son, Steven Hymer of Woodbury; his sister, Sharon Powers of Hopewell Twp.; two grandsons, Thomas R. Hymer and Jacob R. Hymer and a great-grandson, TJ Hymer. Besides his wife, Sandra, he was preceded in death by; his son, Howard F. Hymer III. Memorial services will be held at the PADGETT FUNRAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Friday, November 5th at 11 AM.
