Obituary of Timber N. Barr

Timber N. Barr, 38, of Millville passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at home surrounded by her family. Born in Bridgeton to the late Wilbert M. Barr, Jr. and Robin Bender Barr she was the wife of Carl J. Shelton. Timber was a long time resident of Millville and enjoyed being a homemaker, amazing mother and wife for her husband and children. She had a love for animals of all kinds. Timber also had a passion for cooking and of course eating whatever was prepared. She enjoyed the ocean and taking part in arts and crafts. She will greatly be remembered for her heart of gold. She is survived by her husband Carl J. Shelton of Millville; her son, Zion A. Shelton; four step-children, Destiny Shelton of Millville, Carl J. Shelton, Jr. of CA, Juan Shelton of FL and Cameron Shelton of Millville; her aunt, Tania Reed; her uncle, James Barr (Allison); grandparents Sam Barr and Nancy Barr; three cousins, James Buckalew, Candice Burr and Paul Peterson; and the entire Reed family. She was predeceased in death by her parents, Wilbert M. Barr, Jr. and Robin Bender-Barr; her grandparents, Fred Bender and Joan Bender; and her sister Samantha Barr. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Fortescue Beach on Saturday, October 30th at 2 PM. A light vigil will be held on Saturday, October 30th at 232 Geisinger Ave., Millville, NJ 08332 at 6 PM. In case of inclement weather all events will be rescheduled for Sunday, October 31st at the same times and locations.
