Obituary of Daniel D. Barlam

Daniel D. Barlam, 81, of Bridgeton passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2021. Born in Cedarville to the late Carmen Barlam and Florence Scarlato Barlam, he was raised in Cedarville and moved to the Bridgeton area in the early 2000's. At the age of seventeen, Daniel began working for Wheaton Glass Co. in Millville, where he worked for twelve years. After leaving Wheaton Glass Co., he started his own business in Cedarville, Cyntina Construction, which he operated for seventeen years. Daniel also worked at Home Depot for several years and later as the custodian at Berean Baptist Church in Bridgeton. Daniel had been a member of the Deerfield Elks Lodge #733, the Loyal order of Moose Woodbury Lodge #2585, South Jersey Moose Legion #65 and the Cedarville Fire Department Station #17. In his free time, he enjoyed flying Cessna planes, carpentry and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by; two daughters, Cynthia Belshaw and Christina Vain; a step daughter, Dawn Guth; the son he never had, David Plummer; a brother from another mother, Barry Counsin; a grandson, Adrian Sandoval and special friends, Jeff, Carol, and Fran. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Wednesday, October 27th at 2:30 PM. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Cedarville. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM prior to the services.
