Obituary of Maria Guadalupe Perez Cruz

Maria G Pérez, 65, of Bridgeton passed away on Monday, October 11, 2021 at the Hospital San Lucas in Oaxaca, Mexico. Born in Teococulico, Oaxaca, Mexico to the late Macario F. Pérez García and Raymunda Cruz Pérez, she was the widow of Silvino García Pérez. Maria immigrated to New Jersey in the mid 1980's. Maria worked at Seabrook Brothers & Sons for many years, as well as Walmart and in the later years she worked part time at a local nursery. Maria enjoyed going to the casinos, spending times with friends and playing table games such as ‘loteria’ and ‘pirinola’. She is survived by; her daughters Maria V. García and Yoselin García (Aparicio), her brothers Juan Pérez Cruz, Amador Pérez Cruz, Jesús Pérez Cruz; and her sister and best friend Victoria Pérez Cruz. Maria was preceded in death by her husband Silvino García. A visitation for family and friends will be held at 2730 Kauffman Street, Millville on Thursday evening, October 21st after 6:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Parish of the Holy Cross, St. Teresa of Avila Church, 46 Central Avenue, Bridgeton on Friday, October 22nd at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow the services at Holy Cross at Laurel Lawn Cemetery in Upper Deerfield Township. Arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Township.
