Obituary of Betty L. Pierce

Obituary Betty L. Pierce, 89, of Fairfield Twp. passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. Born in Leipsic, DE to the late Joseph R. Mosley and Martie Muntz Mosley, she was the wife of the late Herbert O. Pierce. Betty had been a resident of Fairfield Twp. since the 1960's. She had been employed by Wheaton Glass Co. in Millville and Owens Illinois Glass Co. in Bridgeton. Betty went back to school for nursing in the 1980's and worked as a nurse at Dr. Briggio's office for 10 years. She was a member of Cedarville Baptist Church. In her free time, Betty enjoyed cooking and crocheting. Most of all, she loved to spend time with her family as they were her whole world. She is survived by; her children, Mary E. Sanchez (Lawrence) of Grants, NM, Debra Bononcini (Ken) of Newfield and Mark Pierce of Millville; her siblings, Herman L. “Tony” Mosley and Diane Duraham; her brother in law, Charles M. Pierce; her sister in law, Myrtle Mosley; five grandchildren, Taylor, Tanner, Joshua, Alysha and Gary and two great grandchildren, Janelle and Axel. She was preceded in death by; her husband, Herbert O. Pierce; her brother, Joseph R. Mosley, Jr. and her sisters, Sophia Pierce, Dorothy Morgan, Ardella Schnorr and Margaret Ridgeway. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Friday, October 15th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Cedarville. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
