Kenneth W. Fox, Jr., 77, of Upper Deerfield Township passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. A lifetime Upper Deerfield Township resident, Ken was born in Bridgeton and was the husband of Kay Swanner Fox and the son of the late Kenneth W. Fox, Sr. and Ruth Turner Fox. Before his retirement, he had owned and operated Fox’s Gulf Service Station which later became Fox’s Auto Service in Bridgeton for 30 years. Prior to that he was employed as a mechanic with Airwork Corporation in Millville. A graduate of the Bridgeton High School Class of 1962, he had served his country as a veteran of the United States Navy during the Vietnam Conflict. Ken enjoyed fishing, the Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia sports teams and NASCAR and Indianapolis 500 Auto Racing. In addition to his wife Kay, he is survived by his sons, Wayne A. Fox (Jodi) of Virginia Beach, VA and Lee A. Fox (Deborah) of Bridgeton and his two grandchildren, Katelyn Fox-Fuller of Boston, MA and Justin Fox of Virginia Beach, VA. He was predeceased by his daughter, Wanda Fox. Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at Cumberland County Veterans Cemetery in Hopewell Township. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions in Ken's memory be made to the Upper Deerfield Township Rescue Squad, 1325 Highway 77, Seabrook, NJ 08302.
