Obituary of Josephine M. Rodgers

A Millville resident most of her life, she was born in Neptune and was the wife of the late Louis Rodgers and the daughter of the late Robert Welch and Mary Gage Welch. A homemaker, Mrs. Rodgers was a member of the Centerton Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. She is survived by; five sons, James Rodgers of Bridgeton, and Daniel Rodgers, David Rodgers, Michael Rogers, and Timothy Rogers all of Millville; two daughters, Janice Shafer of Hopewell Twp. and Lori Ann Robinson of Millville and 53 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Edith Rogers and one grandchild. Funeral services will be held at the Padgett Funeral Home, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Friday, December 7th at 2 PM. Interment will take place at Fernwood Memorial Park in Hopewell Township. A visitation will be held from 1 to 2 PM prior to the services at the funeral home.
