Gerald D. Leach Sr., 75, of Bridgeton passed away on August 6, 2021 after an extended illness. He had been a resident of the Cumberland Manor for the past three years.
Jerry was an honorably discharged veteran of the US Army National Guard and is survived by his son, Gerald D. Leach Jr.(Janice); his grandchildren; his nephew, Ronald G. Leach Jr.(Paula), several other nieces and nephews; Kayla Massing, who was like a granddaughter to him; and his adopted family Nikki, Jill, Lynnie, Mandy, Ray, Edith, Barb, Chester, Donald, Donna and Henry. He was predeceased by his mother Laura (Bacon); his father, Gilbert Sr.; brothers Gilbert Leach Jr., Charles Leach, Ronald Leach Sr. and Leon Savage; sister, Brenda Watson; and close friend, Anita Bano.
Jerry was a bartender at the Mead Woodward VFW Post 1795 for several years. He loved playing BINGO, playing scratch-off lottery tickets and watching the San Francisco 49ers.
Cremation and inurnment will take place at Laurel Lawn Crematory in Upper Deerfield Township.
