Obituary of Julie L. Takeda

Julie L. Takeda, 67, of Bridgeton passed away on Saturday August 14, 2021 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland under the care of hospice. Born in Chicago, IL to Kumiko Suzuki Takeda and the late Kenichi “Kenji” Takeda, she was a lifetime resident of the Bridgeton area. Prior to her retirement, Julie had been employed by Cumberland Advisors Inc. in Vineland for over 30 years. She was a talented artist and photographer and also enjoyed knitting. She was known for her baking especially her Christmas cookies. She is survived by; her mother, Kumi Takeda of Bridgeton; her sister, Donna Takeda and her husband, Michael Vallon of Canada and her loving dog, Miss Ruby. She was preceded in death by; her father, Kenichi “Kenji” Takeda. Memorial services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Friday, August 20th at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Julie's memory to the South Jersey Regional Animal Shelter, 1244 N Delsea Dr, Vineland, NJ 08360 or to a favorite charity of one's choice.
