Obituary of Delores O. Quann

Delores L. Quann, 88, of Stow Creek Township passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. The wife of the late Raymond H. Quann, who passed away in 2004, she was born in Johnstown, PA and was the daughter of the late William Rice and Thelma Messersmith Rice. She had resided in Stow Creek Township since 1970 and had come to the Bridgeton area at the age of 18 to pursue employment with the former Owens-Illinois Glass Company in Bridgeton. Delores had a passion for cooking and was an avid reader of cookbooks, always looking for new ideas and recipes. She is survived by two children, Michael Quann of Stow Creek Township and Missy Hannah (Milo) of Shiloh; a sister, Marceen Hawksworth of Nanty Glo, PA and four grandchildren, Milo Hannah IV (Natasha), Tristan Hannah (Lyndsay), Erin Quann and Richie Quann. She was predeceased by two brothers, Donald Rice and William O. Rice. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 11th at 11:00 AM at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township. Friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the services at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Cumberland County Veterans Cemetery in Hopewell Township.
