Obituary of Mary Ann Joyce

Mary Ann Joyce (Knerr), 77, of Upper Deerfield passed away July 22, 2021, after a brief illness. Mary Ann was born in Easton, PA. Daughter of the late Leroy and Mary Knerr. Predeceased by her brother, Dave Knerr and sister, Nancy Bierbruner. She is survived by her husband (and love of her life) for 60 years, George Joyce Jr., sons, George III and Nikki (Bara), Greg and Kathleen (Davis), daughter, Allison Blake and husband Bobby, as well as her sister Judy, and her brother’s Leroy, Barry, and Bob. She also is survived by her eight grandchildren, Bobby, Paige, Lizzy, Melanie, Greg, Ashley, Chassity and Casey, as well as her five great-grandchildren, Ashaela, Robert, Kaylee, Mia and Bennett. Also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews. Self described cookie queen and avid QVC's “investor", Mary Ann also enjoyed her time in Ocean City with her family, her yard, bird watching and grand dogs. She excelled in wonderful family dinners creating so many enjoyable memories. Not a single moment was wasted for her to tell you how proud of you she was or how much she loved you. No one, and I mean no one, ever went without. Her husband and family were absolutely everything to her. It is an understatement to say Mary Ann was a remarkably strong woman and inspiration to her family. Even though the last couple of years were very difficult for her, she never, ever, lost her sense of humor. Oft times inappropriate, foul mouthed and ornery, but always hilarious, she will be immensely missed. Lord, will she be missed. Her family will cherish and celebrate her memory for an eternity. 1-4-3, always. There will be a private memorial service for family at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Township.
