Obituary of Mary L. Stretch

Mary L. Stretch, 90, of Hopewell Twp. passed away on Sunday, July, 18 2021 at her home. Born in Bridgeton to the late Harold Bacon and Elsie McKee Bacon she was the wife of the late Russell D. Stretch. Mary had been a Hopewell Twp. resident since 1951, prior to that she had lived in Bridgeton. Mary had been a member of Cohnasey Baptist Church for many years. In her free time she enjoyed traveling with her late husband in their motor home and spending time with her family. She is survived by; a son, David R. Stretch (Lisa) of Pemberton; two daughters, Nancy C. Baker (Jere) of Hopewell Twp and Peggy Stretch (Alan) of Roadstown; a sister, Jean Dix of OK; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and one more on the way. She was preceded in death by; her husband, Russell D. Stretch; a son, Adam Stretch; a sister, Erna Sloan; and two brothers, Harold Bacon and Richard Bacon. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Saturday, July 24th at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Fernwood Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
