Obituary of Franklyn H. Loatman, Jr.

Franklyn H. Loatman, Jr., 65, of Bridgeton passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at the Bishop McCarthy Residence in Vineland. Born in Bridgeton to the late Frank H. Loatman and Sylvia Buckley Loatman, he was a Bridgeton resident all of his life. Prior to his retirement, Franklyn had worked at the Redpack Corp. in Cedarville for many years. He was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Philadelphia Phillies. He is survived by; his children, Sylvia Loatman-Omer (Yousif) of Bowie, MD and Franklyn H. Loatman III (Patricia) of Bridgeton; three grandchildren, Ava, Aiden and Tristan; five sisters, Brenda Barry of MD, Andre Gould of Millville, Martha Gould of Fairton, Penny Petty of Waldorf, MD and Sonya Slater of Bridgeton and many nieces, nephews, family members and close friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Loatman. Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
