Obituary of Patty A. Hornes-Crawford

Patty Hornes-Crawford, 65, of Williamstown, New Jersey and a lifelong resident of Bridgeton, New Jersey, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 5, 2021. She was born on September 8, 1955 in Bridgeton, New Jersey, to the late Herbert and Lillie Mae Hornes (Bennett). She was educated in the Bridgeton Public School system and graduated from Bridgeton High School in 1975. She also attended Cumberland County College. She married David D. Crawford and they share a daughter, Danielle Hornes. Patty was employed at Tri-County Community Action Partnership in which she retired after 27 years of service. Patty was a faithful and active member of Hopewell Church of God, now known as, Bridgeton Church of God, where she served on the Usher Board. She leaves to cherish her loving memory: her husband, David D. Crawford, Williamstown, NJ; one daughter, Danielle (Dwayne) Hornes, Bridgeton, NJ; four sisters Mary Hornes, Fairfield Township, NJ; Jackie Hornes, Pennsauken, NJ; Kathy Abdullah, Bridgeton, NJ; Lena Hornes-Mathews, Bridgeton, NJ; one brother Herbert (Elizabeth) Hornes, Bridgeton, NJ; one granddaughter Diamond Hornes, Wilmington, DE; one grandson Denim Hornes, Bridgeton, NJ; a host of nieces, nephews, stepsons, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Herbert and Lillie Mae Hornes; a sister Thomasine Johnson; a brother Hubert Hornes and two nephews Vincent J Hornes and little Vincent Hornes. Funeral services will be held at the Chestnut Assembly of God, 2554 E. Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ 08361 on Wednesday, June 16th at 1PM. Friends and family will be received at the church from 11AM to 1PM prior to the services. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp.
