Obituary of Mario Soriano

Mario Soriano, 28, of Bridgeton passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 3, 2021. Born in Bridgeton to Israel Vasquez-Bautista and Marcela Pareja-Reyes, he was a resident of Bridgeton where he lived for most of his life. Mario had resided in the greater Pittsburgh area for about two years. He was a veteran of the United States Army Reserve and had worked as a home remodeler for the past few months with J&C Home Renovation LLC in Millville. Mario had also worked for several other home remodeling firms in the Cumberland County Area. He was a graduate of Bridgeton High School class of 2011. In his free time, Mario enjoyed traveling the world, working out at the gym and skydiving. His family described him as an adventurous person and he loved his mother's cooking. He is survived by; his daughter, Thalia Noemi Soriano; his parents, Israel Vasquez-Bautista and Marcela Pereja-Reyes of Bridgeton; his sisters, Laura Soriano of Bridgeton, Lisette Hernandez of Millville and Berenice Vasquez of Bridgeton and his companion of many years, America Castaneda of Bridgeton. The funeral liturgy will be celebrated at the Parish of the Holy Cross, Immaculate Conception Church, 312 North Pearl Street, Bridgeton on Friday, June 11th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery at Laurel Lawn in Upper Deerfield Twp. A visitation will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Friday morning, June 11th from 9 AM to 10:30 AM prior to the services.
