Obituary of Ida Elaine Forman Stubbs

Ida Elaine Forman Stubbs, 81, of Bridgeton passed away peacefully on Friday, May 14, 2021 at Genesis Nursing Center in Millville. She was born in Bridgeton to the late Jennie Mae and George Forman, Sr. Ida was a faithful servant, member and friend to Faith Chapel Church for 40 years. Ida had been a lifetime resident of the Bridgeton area. Prior to her retirement, she had worked as a supervisor for Colonial Farms in Norma and had also worked as a lunch lady at Burlington Manor. She leaves to cherish in her memories her sister’s Frances Smith and Carol Forman of Bridgeton, Erma Moncrieffe (Edward) of Vineland; her grandchildren, Koren N. Hall (Michael) of Bridgeton, Stephanie M. Stevenson of Vineland, Alvin A. Bonner, Gary Bonner Jr and Rashanda Bonner of Bridgeton; 8 great-grandchildren Michael, Dontae, Amir, Victoria, Avery, Shaelynn, Jamaira, Jamir; a Godson James Underwood, who she loved dearly and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends. Besides her parents Jennie Mae and George Forman Sr, she was preceded in death by her late husband Roosevelt Stubbs, Jr; 2 brothers; 2 sisters; her sons Alvin H. Bonner; Gary D. Bonner Sr; 1 daughter Rosenna Bonner and a daughter-in-law Florence Stevenson Bonner. She was affectionately called Eazy-E by her niece Thomasena Harris who God raised up to be her Guardian Angel, Caretaker, Friend and support until the end. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Friday, May 28th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
