Annice J. Camarano, 84, of Hopewell Twp. passed away on Sunday evening, May 9, 2021 at her home under the care of hospice and her family. Born in Bridgeton to the late Norman Wayne Maurer and Muriel Emma Crewe Maurer, she was a resident of Bridgeton since 1990. Annice had been born and raised in Bridgeton but raised her family in Landisville before returning to Bridgeton. Prior to her retirement, Annice had been employed as a confidential secretary for the Buena Vista Board of Education for over 42 years. In her younger years, she had worked for Bell Telephone. In her free time, Annice enjoyed baking especially Christmas cookies and was known for her homemade ravioli. She also loved to garden and always grew a large variety of beautiful flowers. Some of her favorite times were spent visiting Ocean City's beach and boardwalk with her family and friends. She is survived by; her daughter, Annette Camarano of Evergreen, CO; two grandchildren, Dominic Valenciana of Washington State and Angelo Valenciana of Colorado; her sister, Pam Heipertz of Ocean View, DE; her nieces and nephews, Darrin Maurer of NY, Rick Heipertz of Maryland, Rachel Reinhart of Hopewell Twp and Ryan Maurer of Flemington and many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by; her son, Angelo Camarano and two brothers, Wayne Maurer and Lowell Maurer. Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Twp.
