Obituary of Anthony C. Miletta

Anthony C. “Tony” Miletta, Sr., 44 of Hammonton, NJ passed away unexpectedly on May 5, 2021. Tony grew up in Cedarville, NJ. He is survived by; his wife, Melonie; his son, Anthony, Jr.; his step son, Deimetre Garcia; his grandfather, Charles Pierce; his mother, Suzanne Miletta, his sister, Kira Rollar (John); his brother, Frank Miletta, Jr. (Lisa); his niece, Naomi Rollar; his nephew, Logan Rollar; 3 step-nieces; 10 great-nieces and nephews as well as countless friends and family. He is predeceased by his father, Frank Miletta, Sr. Tony was a loving, caring husband, father, son, grandson, brother, uncle and friend. He had a smile and personality that lit up a room. He was loved by everyone he touched. Tony enjoyed spending time with his son; watching and practicing football and baseball as well as jumping in the pool and playing video games. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Tony had been employed as a correctional officer at Fort Dix Federal Prison and Sergeant in the United States Army. He served his country honorably during Operation Iraqi Freedom 2008-2009. His loss is tragic but he will be remembered fondly through all the positive light he shared with all of us. He will be loved forever and never forgotten. He was also a big fan of both old and new country music and the Washington Redskins. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Saturday, May 15th at 12 Noon. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Cedarville. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 12 Noon prior to the services.
