Obituary of Myron L. Pipes

Please share a memory of Myron to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Myron Leonard Pipes's love of life did not come to an end with his death. He went home to be with the Lord, on April 26th, 2021 at age of 63 after a courageous battle with cancer. He stayed strong to the end, surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest. Myron was born in Baltimore, Maryland on November 9th, 1957 to Mary Lee Pipes (Graham) and the late Charles Kenneth Pipes. Myron had been a lifelong resident of Camden, New Jersey and had attended the Camden school system. He completed trade school and specialized in carpentry. His passion was in his work taking unfurbished things and making them beautiful again. He shared this passion with various family members and friends, over the years. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Myron. He loved a quiet evening with soft jazz or a rowdy day cracking jokes with his family. His pleasant personality and big heart were contagious and he shared it with everyone who crossed his path. He leaves to cherish his memories his daughter Kenyetta S. Wilkins (Elijah) of Bridgeton, NJ; son, Myron L. Dickerson of Florida; his several step children; three granddaughters, Monae Childers; Jabrea Childers; Dajhira Sease all of Bridgeton; great granddaughter, Paisley Hill; brothers, Charles K. Pipes Jr; Jerome Pipes; Darryl B. Pipes (Sophia); Jacqueline E. Graham; Cynthia D. Pipes; Pamela L. Pipes; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousin, and friends. Funeral Services will be held at First Refuge Progressive Baptist Church, 1479 Kaighns Ave. Camden on Tuesday, May 4th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Lakeview Memorial Park in Cinnaminson. Friends will be received at the church from 9 AM to 11 AM prior to the services. Written condolences can be sent to the family through the funeral home website at www.padgettfuneralhomes.com.
