Obituary of Christopher Pancoast

Christopher “BoBo” Pancoast, 36, of Millville passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at his home. Born in Bridgeton to Mervin Scythes, Jr. and Lorna Pancoast, he was a Cumberland County resident all of his life. Christopher had been most recently employed as a fork lift operator for T-Fal in Millville. In his free time, he enjoyed riding motorcycles and ATVs and spending time with friends and family especially if food was involved. Christopher was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. His family described him as a man with no fear who was always ready for an adventure. He is survived by; his mother, Lorna Pancoast of Millville; his father, Mervin Scythes, Jr. Fairfield Twp.; three children, Camrynn Pancoast, Isabelle Vergara and Breyana Pancoast; the mother of his children, Melinda Vergara; his siblings, Brian Pancoast of Millville and Daniel Pancoast (Melissa) of Haddon Heghts; his nephew, Brian Pancoast, Jr.; his maternal Oma, M. Louise Pancoast and many other extended family members. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Robert Pancoast; and his paternal grandparents Mervin Scythes Sr. and Dolly Scythes. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Tuesday, April 27th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Laurel Lawn Cemetery in Upper Deerfield Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior the services.
