Obituary of Bonnie Davis Wood

Bonnie (Huff) Davis Wood of Cobb’s Mill, NJ passed away peacefully on April 8, 2021 at the age of 93. Born in Bybee, TN on August 31, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Gordon Lee Huff and Kate Dover Huff. The entire family moved to the Bridgeton area in 1945. She married Arthur Moore Davis, Jr in 1951 and they had 39 years together before his death in 1990. In 1991 she married Arthur Wood. They were married until his death in 1997. For the last fifteen years her companion has been Lawrence “Barney” Uhland. In her younger years, Bonnie worked in sewing factories in the Bridgeton area. Later, Bonnie was a homemaker and helped her husband Arthur operate a dairy and produce farm in Stow Creek. After retiring from work, Bonnie loved working in her garden, quilting and going to yard sales. She was a wonderful quilter and several of her quilts hung in local quilt shows. She is survived by four children; Helen Cobb (William Rex), Linda Kidd (Julian), Bonnie Casper (Dennis) and Arthur Davis III (Sharon Rzasa), ten grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Bonnie is also survived by three sisters; Mary Pricket, Trulamae Suttle and Anna Marie Call and two brothers, Troy Huff and Carl Huff. She is predeceased by brothers Hardy Huff, Gordon Huff Jr., James Huff and Tommy Huff. Bonnie will be forever loved and missed and will live in our hearts forever. There will be a graveside service on Thursday, April 15th at 10:00 AM at the Greenwich Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 630 Ye Greate St, Greenwich, NJ for family and friends.
