Obituary of Cynthia J. Bradway

Cynthia J. Bradway, 85, of Pitman passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021 at home. Born in Bridgeton to the late Rev. Stanley R. Stanton and Lois Stokeley Stanton, she was the wife of the late Rev. Orville Clyde Bradway, Jr. She spent her childhood in Cedarville. Cynthia was a resident of Pitman since May of 2019 and prior that she had lived in Millville and Vineland. She was a graduate of the Bridgeton High School Class of 1954 and of West Jersey Hospital School of Nursing in 1957. Prior to her retirement she had worked for Wesley Manor in Ocean City as a graduate nurse and at the former Mater Dei Nursing Center in Newfield as the Activities Director. She was a member of Cedarville United Methodist Church and Centre Grove United Methodist Church. In her free time, Cynthia enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, reading and playing tennis. She was on the Varsity tennis team in High School. Surviving are her three children, Timothy Bradway of Wenonah, Sarah Bradway of Vineland, and Rebecca Bradway of Laurel Lake; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Orville Clyde Bradway. Jr. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Wednesday, April 14th at 11 AM. Interment will take place privately at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Cedarville. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services. Due to current regulations associated with the Covid-19 healthcare situation, we are limited to 75 people within the funeral home at a time and the understanding and cooperation of the public is greatly appreciated.
