Obituary of Geneva Cobb

Geneva Cobb, 84, of Millville passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Cooper University Hospital in Camden. Born in Church Hill, Tennessee to the late Roy Monroe and Ida Davis Monroe, she was the wife of the late Burton “Burt” Cobb who died in 1988. She had been a Millville resident since 1960 and had lived in Florida and Tennessee prior to that. Before her retirement, Geneva had been employed with the Wheaton Glass Company in Millville. She had also worked at Value City in Vineland and in the Cafeteria Department in several of the Millville Public Schools. Surviving are her son, William R. Monroe (Patricia Termine) of PA; her daughter in law, Sandy of Commercial Township; her three granddaughters, Jamie Leigh Harrison (Ted) of PA, Courtney Marie Monroe of PA and Paige Monroe of PA and two great-grandchildren, EmmaLyn and TJ; her sister, Doris Johnson of FL and two special nieces, Betty Whitaker and Jaclyn Moxham She was predeceased by her son, R. Wayne Monroe and 11 brothers and sisters, Ella Mae, Alberta, Cornie, AnnLou, Oscar, Paul, Ethel, Edna, Margie, Helen and James. Private visitation and funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township.
