Paul J. Clifford, 72, of Pittsgrove Twp. passed away at his home on Tuesday, February 23, 2021. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Louis E. and Phyllis Clifford, he was the husband of Nancy Kiger. Paul had been a lifetime resident of the Elmer area. Prior to his retirement, Paul had been employed as a tree surgeon with Asplundh Tree Experts, an industry he had worked in for over 40 years. He had been previously employed by the former Tree Preservation Co. Paul had also spent time working as a truck driver, in the HVAC industry and in the glass production industry. He was a member of the IBEW union Local #351 out of Hammonton. In his free time, Paul loved fishing and in his younger years was an avid hunter. He was an outdoorsman all of his life. He also enjoyed tinkering and when someone need something fixed, Paul was the first person to reach out to. His family had described him as a Jack of All Trades. He is survived by; his wife, Nancy Kiger of Pittsgrove Twp.; his children, Joseph Paul Clifford (Elizabeth) of Wilson, NC, Sean L. Clifford (Wendy) of Port Arthur, TX, Amanda J. Clifford of Seymour, TN, Brendel Clifford of Salem and Jennifer Harvey of Pittsgrove Twp.; ten grandchildren, Stephanie, Jacob, Sean, Zachary, Aaron, Justin, Josh, Amber, Aiden and Elena “Rosie”; five great-grandchildren, his honorary brother, Uncle Jerry Price and many past and present fishing buddies. He was preceded in death by; seven siblings including; Louis Clifford, Jr., David Clifford, Phyllis Clifford and Ethel Clifford. Funeral services were held privately at the convenience of the family.
