Boyd J. Pettit, 75, of Hopewell Township passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland.
Boyd was born in Bridgeton and was the son of the late Boyd Pettit and Gertrude Fullerton Pettit. He had been a resident of Hopewell Township for 12 years and prior to that had lived in Bridgeton.
He was an avid chess player and a had been a member of the Centerton Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
He is survived by one sister, Jennie E. Carman of Fairton and several nieces and nephews. Boyd was predeceased by two sisters, Bertha Pettit and Eleanor Doughty.
At Boyd’s request there were to be no funeral services held. Interment will take place at Eglington Cemetery in Clarksboro.
