Lauretta Black-Hill, 53, of Gouldtown passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. She was the wife of Raynard Hill and daughter of the late Rosemary Black and Raphael Rivera. Lauretta attended the Cedarville and Bridgeton Public School Systems, and later was employed by Seabrook Brothers and Sons, Seabrook, NJ; Inspira Vineland and self-employed through her Online Paparazzi Jewelry Site and Child Care until her brief illness. Lauretta loved her community where she lived for 25 years. She joined the church and accepted Christ many years ago. She was a proud member of Deeper Life Deliverance Ministries under the Leadership of Apostle Robert L. and Pastor Celeste Parker in Hammonton, NJ. She served as a Greeter, Usher, and on the Kitchen Committee until she went home to be with the Lord. Lauretta had such tenderness about her; she would always greet you with a smile. She was genuine, kind, and showed love to everyone she knew. Lauretta loved Praising the Lord and serving him. She understood how blessed it was to serve the Lord in the Beauty of Holiness and enjoyed sharing her Faith. She was an amazing disciple for the Lord. Lauretta looked forward to going to Church with the love of her life, her husband, taking some of the grand’s each time and her daughters occasionally with her. She enjoyed Sunday school, Bible Education and mid-week Services and volunteering whenever she could. Lauretta enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling experiencing new places and things and going shopping with her mother-in-law Rosie Mae James who she loved dearly. She loved cooking and her private time spent with the Lord. She enjoyed her phone fellowship with the sisters of the Church. Lauretta just loved life. She leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted husband, Raynard Hill of 26 years, her pride and joys 4 daughters, La’Twona, Sharmella, Tralana, Raeshonna Hill and in NJ; one loving brother Jason Black of Cedarville, NJ; 10 Grand’s, Nyzaren Escobar Hill, Shae’Twona, Sharde’ Jones, Zy’Meira McKoy-Hill, Ryonna Williams, Zy’Rhon McKoy, Zy’Nasia McKoy, Raynard Hill, Va’Niya Hart, Vance Hart; her mother-in-law Rosie Mae James, and a host of brothers and sisters-in-laws, godson Johnny File, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition, she was predeceased by one daughter Shae’Twona, and one brother, Brian Black. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township on Monday, February 22nd at 11:00 AM. A walk through visitation will take place from 9:00 to 10:45 AM prior to the services at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Hopewell Township. Due to current regulations associated with the Covid-19 healthcare situation, we are limited to 60 people within the funeral home at a time and the understanding and cooperation of the public is greatly appreciated.
