Grant G. Cameron slipped his earthly bonds on January 30, 2021 and woke in the presence of Jesus. Grant gave his heart to Jesus in 2014 and enjoyed watching Charles Stanley every Sunday morning. Born in Bridgeton Hospital on July 21, 1953 to Owen and Mary Cameron, Grant grew up in Hopewell, NJ. Grant learned the masonry trade at Cumberland County Vo-Tech and graduated from Bridgeton High School in 1971. Grant worked for Chester Rammel Masonry, Kerr Glass and Martin Dye before launching his own business, Quality Concrete and Masonry in 1988 working until his retirement. Grant had been in declining health for the last five years. He leaves to cherish his memory, his fiancé of five years and companion of twenty five years, Yvonne Gale. He is survived by his children, Daniel and Gabriel Russell of Bristol, VA, Stephen Cameron of Vineland, Michael and Troy Mazza, and Jake Gale-Cameron at home. Two brothers, Owen Cameron of Maryland and Neil Cameron of Hopewell and his sisters Karen Peoples (Bob) of PA and Dorothy Cash of Hopewell, along with his granddaughter, Paris. His loyal friends, Frank (Froggy) Ford, Keith Yamamoto, Harry Gandy, Kenny Lathberry, John Frazer Sr. and Joe Ross, Brother in law James Gale 4th (Grace). His neighborhood family, The Youngs, Wayne and Pam Steward, the Shields, bonus nieces Grace Lynn, Haidyn Elizabeth and bonus nephew Karsyn L. Grant enjoyed going for rides and lunch with Yvonne, crabbing, fishing, clamming and playing cards. He loved spending time with his children and close friends. Special thanks to the Taylor, Smith, VanMeter, Torres, Rosado and Blackburn families, John Frazer, “Buck” and Jennifer for making Grant feel so loved. Cremation and inurnment took place at Laurel Lawn Crematory in Upper Deerfield Township.
