          Robert P. May, 71, of Vineland passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021 at his home.               Born in Shiloh Borough to the late Charles May, Jr. and Dorothy Margaret Skellinger May, he had been a resident of Vineland for the past 30 years. Prior to that he had resided in Bridgeton.               Robert was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam Conflict. Before his retirement he had served as a mechanic and later a supervisor at National Refrigerant Co. in Vineland. He had also worked at the former 7-UP Bottling Company in Bridgeton. In his free time, he enjoyed working on his Corvette, boating, fishing and in his younger years hunting.               He is survived by; his step mother, Edith Overstreet May; three siblings, Sue Ellen Hack of Fairfield Twp., Charles P. May of DE and Hugh “Bodie” May of Fairfield Twp.; four step siblings, Richard Overstreet, Barbara Overstreet-Cuff, Donald Overstreet and Donna Overstreet Streahle; his brother-in-law, Ray Bano, Jr.; his nieces, Nikki Bano (Jill Sungenis), Anita Lynn Adams, Mandy Massing, Allie May and Catie May; his nephews, Ken Hack, Sr. and Chris Hack and his faithful companion, his cat, “Girl”. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Anita L. Bano and Maureen “Bunnie” O. May; his brother, C. John May III and his nephew, Michael May. He was also preceded in death by his companion, Shirley Collins Shelton. She cared for Robbie with compassion and love, always with a smile.               According to Robert's wishes, no funeral services will be held.
