Obituary of Daniel Lee Sprouse

Daniel Lee Sprouse, 67, of Deerfield Twp. passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Cooper University Hospital in Camden. Born in Bridgeton to Farria Clark Sprouse and the late Rev. Paul D. Sprouse, he was the husband of Vera McGaha Sprouse. Daniel had been a resident of Deerfield Twp. for the past 47 years and prior to that he had resided in Upper Deerfield Twp. He was a tree surgeon involved with the operation of Sprouse's Tree Service for 40 years. He was a member of the 5th Ward Athletic Club, Italian American Civic Club, Deerfield Elks Lodge and the American Legion Shoemaker Post 95. Daniel was also an avid hunter and member of the Rosenhayn Gun Club. He is survived by; his wife, Vera Sprouse of Deerfield Twp.; his mother, Farria Sprouse of Upper Deerfield Twp.; three children, Lee D. Sprouse of Deerfield Twp., Gene B. Sprouse (Emily) of Upper Deerfield Twp. and Bridget D. Sprouse of Elmer; his brother, Ronald Sprouse (Debra) of Upper Deerfield Twp.; two sisters, Shirley Morgan (David) of Mullica Hill and Paula Walker (Timothy) of Deerfield Twp. along with his seven grandchildren, Abigail, Averi, Dallas, Warren, Craig, Enrico and Patrick. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Friday, February 5th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Centerton Free Will Baptist Cemetery in Pittsgrove Twp. A walk through visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
