Obituary of Gregory G. Smith

Gregory G. Smith, 68, of Pittsgrove passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at his home. Born in Bridgeton to the late George and Mary Seeney Smith, he was the husband of JoAnn Paul Smith. He had been a Pittsgrove Twp. resident for the past 48 years, prior to that he had lived in Cumberland County. Gregory retired in 2016 from Ardagh in Bridgeton, formerly Leone Industries, where he worked as a truck driver for 43 years. He was a member of Friendship Finley United Methodist Church in Bridgeton. In his free time, he was an avid hunter, gardener and guitar player. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his dog, Trouble. He is survived by; his wife, JoAnn Smith of Pittsgrove Twp.; daughter, Danielle Sanderlin (Wes) of Hopewell Twp.; son, Gregory Smith II (Kathryn) of Upper Deerfield Twp.; sisters; Peggy Sutton of Marmora and Betty Williams (Jack) of WA; grandchildren; Reese and Aaron Sanderlin, Brooke and Logan Smith; and several nieces and nephews.
