Wayne C. Motter Sr., 71, of Millville passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. Born in Vineland to the late Marlin Motter Jr. and Lillian Smith Thompson, he was the long-time companion of Hilda Ripa. He had been a resident of Cumberland County all his life. Wayne worked in mold repair at Big 3 Precision Products in Milllville for over 30 years with his “second family”. In his free time Wayne was a gamer and loved to eat, especially junk food. He had a huge heart and was a father and grandfather to all who knew him. He was “pops” to many. Wayne also coached several softball teams in his time for both his children and grandchildren. He dedicated his life to his family, friends and work, he will be greatly missed. He is survived by; his companion, Hilda Ripa of Millville; children, Wayne Motter Jr. of Millville, Jason Motter of Missouri and Janet Gonzalez (Izzy) of Millville; step-children, Alfred Ripa Jr. (Marci) of Millville, Patricia Ripa of Millville and Sherry Ripa (Dyt) of Massachusetts; siblings, Nelson Thomson (Debbie), Howard Motter, Betty Gould (Greg), Wanda Thompson, Barbara Robarge (Bob), Cindy Lebron (Juan), Roseanne Motter (Juan) and Cathleen Whilden (Kurt); grandchildren, John Stanton III, Samantha Motter, Austin Ripa, Brandon Ripa, Hope Yacobowsky, Ashley Motter, Mckenna Motter, Alanna Love, Briella Love and Chyanne Love; a great-grandchild, Demetrius Davis and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by; parents, Marlin Motter Jr. and Lillian Thompson; brothers, Charles Motter, Marlin Motter III and Michael Thompson; and a sister, Sharon Cox. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Monday, February 1st at 11 AM. A walk-through visitation will be held from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services. At the convenience of the family a private committal service will be held at Greenwood Memorial Park in Millville at a later date. Due to current regulations associated with the Covid-19 healthcare situation, we are limited to 50 people within the funeral home at a time and the understanding and cooperation of the public is greatly appreciated.
