Obituary of Donald F. Butler, Sr.

Donald Franklin Butler, Sr., 74, nicknamed to some as "DUCK" was born to the late Daniel and Panzy Butler on December 8, 1946 in Bridgeton NJ. He departed this life on Saturday January 16, 2021. Donald was educated at Bridgeton public schools. He was employed at Wheaton and Anchor Hocking Glass Co. for some years and his retirement job was with Ranch Hope Group Home as a counselor. Donald lived by Faith and enjoyed life to the fullest. In 1980 he surrendered his life to the Lord. Thereafter, he loved being in church and reading his bible. He would talk about Christ to anyone he came into contact with. He loved to watch sports and tennis was his favorite. He also loved listening to music and singing. Donald also loved to dress, yes! He had "SWAAG" He will truly be missed by many. Donald was predeceased by; his parents, Daniel and Panzy Butler and his siblings, Eddie Butler, Charlette Cole, Daniel Butler Jr. and George Butler. He leaves to cherish his memories; his sisters, Lucille Dunkin of Hopewell, NJ, Delores Butler Frain of Jonesboro GA, Marcella Rowe (David) of Newfield NJ, Janice Seace (Willie) of Bridgeton NJ; his children, Denise Thompson of Cherry Hill, NJ, Lisa Still of Lindenwold, NJ, Donald Butler, Jr. (Tonya) of Swedesboro, NJ, Andrew Taylor of Blackwood NJ, Kenny Taylor (Kristy) of Sicklerville NJ, Sherron Butler of Clementon NJ and Joshua Butler of Glassboro NJ; 22 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Shiloh Baptist Church, 1837 N.E. Blvd., Vineland on Wednesday, January 27th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp.
