Obituary of Jerry E. Brown

Jerry E. “Tank” Brown, 49, of Upper Deerfield Twp. passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 7, 2020 at his home. Born in Bridgeton to the Arabella Brown, he was a resident of the Bridgeton area all of his life. Jerry had been most recently employed at Red Oak Disposal Company in Woodstown for about 15 years. He had been previously employed at National Freight as a truck driver for over 15 years. In his free time, Jerry loved to visit Cowtown with his best friend, Larry Gibbons. He was also an avid toy collector especially of Transformers and tractor trailers. Jerry was also a big fan and collector of both DC and Marvel comics. He is survived by; his mother, Arabella Brown of Upper Deerfield Twp.; his siblings, Velma Brown of Upper Deerfield Twp. and Denise Brown of Bethlehem, PA; his nephews, Darrian Riley and Terrell Square; his uncles, Randolph Brown of Fairfield Twp. and Harold Brown of Bridgeton and a host of other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by; his grandmother, Marion Brown and his grandfather, Randolph Taylor. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Friday, January 15th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
