Joann Messick, 81, of Vineland passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2020 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. Born in Dividing Creek to the late Joseph J. Morgan and Dorothy House Morgan, she was a resident of Vineland for the past two years. Joann spent her childhood years in Dividing Creek and Cedarville and lived in Millville for a few years. She had been a resident of Hopewell Twp. for most of her life. Joann had been employed at Santa's Best Co. in Vineland formerly Rennoc Corp. for over 30 years until her retirement in 1999. Growing up, she loved to dance and roller skate with family and friends. Her favorite musical artist was Tom Jones. Joann also loved taking trips to Ocean City and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by; two sons, Paul Messick (Laura) of Philadelphia and Eric Messick (Stephanie) of Mount Royal; her daughter, Hope Messick of South Carolina; three grandchildren, Shane Messick (Mary) of South Carolina, Mia Messick and Landon Messick; two great-grandchildren, Azlynn Messick and Sebastian Messick ; her brother, Herbert Morgan (Christine) and two sisters, Linda M. Morgan-Fisher (Bill) of Vineland and Nancy Sungenis of Hopewell Twp. Funeral Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Cedarville. Due to current regulations associated with the Covid-19 healthcare situation, we are limited to 50 people within the funeral home at a time and the understanding and cooperation of the public is greatly appreciated.
